Increase maximum file upload size

Increase the maximum file size for uploads to ThoughtFarmer

By default, the maximum upload size for all attachments is 100MB. This value is configured in the web.config file which is located in the application's root directory. To increase this value you will need to modify the following line:

<!-- this is the max file upload size for the application in kilobytes, 204800 == 200mb -->
    <httpRuntime maxRequestLength="204800" executionTimeout="3600" requestValidationMode="2.0" enableKernelOutputCache="false" targetFramework="4.5.1" />

and

<!-- this is the max file upload size for the application running under IIS7, in bytes 209715200 == 200mb -->
        <requestLimits maxAllowedContentLength="209715200" />

By increasing the maxRequestLength (in KiloBytes) you can increase the size of attachments able to be uploaded. Please note that changes to the web.config file will trigger the application pool to recycle. Please also note that you will want to put in double the size you would actually like to show up in ThoughtFarmer. For example in the code above you can see that 200mb was entered but in the application only 100mb will show up.

ThoughtFarmer upgrades to a new directory after each upgrade, so you will need to modify the web.config afterwards to ensure this setting persists.
