Set up a Poll Card to get instant feedback from intranet users

A Poll Card is a way to engage users on the homepage and let them express their opinions and give you useful feedback. When you add a Poll Card, it automatically displays the most current poll created on the intranet, but you can also choose to display any poll existing on the intranet.


Once a user votes on a poll, the Poll Card displays the poll results.

  1. In homepage edit page, click Set up cards under Content type & template on the right.
  2. Find the Poll Card and click In use below it (or the gear icon on the right of it).
  3. By default, the radio button Latest poll will be selected. This means that the most recently created poll on the intranet will be displayed. If a new poll is created, the Poll Card will display the new poll. If you want a specific poll to appear, select the radio button Specify the poll, and follow steps 3 and 4.

  4. In the Add poll text box, start typing the name of the poll you want to add in the Add poll box.
  5. Click on the name of the poll in the dropdown menu that appears.
  6. Click Done on the right of the Poll setup window.
  7. Click Done in the Card setup window.
  8. Click Save on the right.
The size and layout of your Poll Card will depend on the layout of your page and the size of the device it is viewed on.
