List direct reports on your profile

Add direct reports

The relationships displayed in the Relationship Browser are based on managers and direct reports listed on profile pages. You can add your direct reports from your profile page, but if you don't, your direct reports will also appear in the Relationship Browser if they add you as their manager. If you add someone as your direct report, and that person has selected a different manager, you can override the manager selection.

  1. Navigate to your profile page and click Edit in the page header to go into edit mode.
  2. In the General Information tab, scroll down to the Relationships section.
  3. Click add beside the Direct reports heading. A two-column pop-up window will appear.
  4. Start typing one of your direct reports' names in the Search box at the top. This will narrow the lists below.
  5. Find your direct report's name in the All users list and drag-and-drop it into the Direct reports list.
  6. If you have multiple direct reports, repeat Steps 4 and 5. Or, hold down CTRL when clicking on names in the All users list to select multiple Direct Reports. Then click on one of the selected names to drag-and-drop the entire selected group to the Direct Reports list.
  7. Click Close at the bottom of the dialog.
  8. The direct reports you have selected will show in the Direct reports section. If one of them has already chosen a different manager on their profile, a message will appear below their name alerting you that their manager will be changed from the current one to you. If you choose to Save changes, your name will override the current manager on that user's profile.

  9. Continue editing your profile or click Save changes at the top or bottom of the page.
